Uncle Fred & Aunt Jeanette's house

Uncle Fred (my little bro) and Aunt Jeanette live on 100 acres near Farmington, Maine. They have done a TON of work to the property. The original 100 acres were just forest with a small trail going through it. He cleared enough for a house, built a small barn, and now has 4 horses, 2 dogs, 2 cats, 2 goats, a bunch of chickens (including an attack rooster) and a bunch of ducks. It's a great place.

This is Morgan on the pony "Molson".

Dylan loved riding Phoenix. Phoenix is the only mare among 3 other stallions. She's beautiful, and has a few tricks up her sleeve (like closing the yearling into his part of the stall so she can eat).

Pokey is a fairly new addition to the brood. I think he's an older Appaloosa, I could be wrong on the breed. Pokey also has a few tricks, like turning his head sideways when you say "please" and hold out a treat.

Not pictured is the yearling, who kicked Mr. Dylan and was eyed warily by both kids after that small mishap.

On our way back home, we stopped at Fred's house again to help him with the pouring of the concrete footings for his soon to be garage. It's a good thing we were around to help, the driver didn't have a front loading truck, and was in absolutely no mood to help out. They ended up loading concrete into Fred's tractor at one point because the cement truck didn't have long enough chutes. Nevertheless, it was fun to see everyone come together and "git it done".
