Well, it doesn't help that we didn't have that much of a summer. September flew by in a flash of school, football and horse shows. Before I knew it it was time to pack up for our 3rd annual Columbus Day weekend in the White Mountains of New Hampshire. It's an amazing time to go - the leaves are at peak foliage color that time of year. The first year we had an Indian summer and basked in 70 degree days. The last 2 years? Some rain and a ton colder, but hey - we're die-hard campers! LOL - it's a lot easier to camp in these than our tenting days:
Mike and Diesel on our hike.

Dylan and Morgan on one our our hikes

Same day (43 degrees in the mountains, we come back down to the valley and the sun pops out and my kids are like a magnet for the water).

We had a great time with the Grandparents!!!

One very chilly Dawn her her D-dog.

Don't you wish this was your driveway? I do!

No moose this year, just pretty trees.
