Happy Mother's Day

Awake at 4am. Truck loaded, out of the house by 6am. At the show by 6:30 - set up and ready when the horses arrive off the tractor trailer by 6:45. Joined by husband and son around 8:00 after wild 3 year old filly was lunged and ridden for quite a while. And ridden. And ridden. Did I mention she's a 3 year old filly that doesn't tire easily? Phew. With some help from the instructors (who both jumped on and also rode Misty)... she tired out just in time for Morgan's events. We didn't expect much - it was her first away show. She won 2 ribbons! Fifth in Western pleasure, 6th in Western beginner pattern. What a Mother's Day - I couldn't have been more proud.
